SARATOGA SPRINGS — Twelve builders walked home with awards at the 15th annual Showcase of Homes awards dinner held at the Gideon Putnam Hotel on Thursday, Sept. 16. More than 275 people were in attendance for the evening’s festivities.

Accolades were handed out in seven divisions, which were broken down into price categories after the homes were judged by 19 building industry professionals on Wednesday, Sept. 15.

Bella Home Builders swept the Luxury Home division ($1 million and up) in all categories for their showcase home in Angelina Estates in Malta. They also took home the Realtor’s Choice Award, which was judged by members of the Capital District Realtors Association during a special preview tour.

The People’s Choice Awards will be tabulated after the last day of the Showcase and posted on the Showcase of Homes website by November 1st.

This year’s Showcase of Homes features 16 homes, the largest field in showcase history, located in Saratoga Springs, Greenfield Center, Malta, Moreau, Ballston Spa, Halfmoon and Wilton from 15 local builders will be on display. Of the 16, three are condominiums. Two are worth more than $1 million. Organizers expect between 5,000 and 6,000 people to tour the homes this year.

Tickets to that event, at $20 each, are available only at Adirondack Trust Company branches, Curtis Lumber in Ballston Spa, Realty USA and Roohan Realty in Saratoga Springs. The price includes showcase admission through the three weekends: Sept. 18, 19, 25, 26, and Oct. 2 and 3.
